Information on Online Dispute Resolution

Since January 9, 2016, Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes (ODR Regulation) has been in effect. This regulation is related to the Consumer Dispute Resolution Act, which was passed by the German Bundestag in December 2015. However, the regulation applies independently and establishes its own information obligations.
